Reported by Chloee
Today was a good day. In the morning we lined up and had our morning assembly. Chloee earned student of the month. We walked to the classroom.
Next when we were in the classroom we turned in our homework from Friday night. When we were done we put away are backpacks in room #12. Once we were done we got our A.R. folders and read.
At the conclusion of A.R., we give ourselves points on Reading Rewards. This monitors our daily reading at home. While we were doing that Lourdes and Josue went to get the fruit. Lourdes passed out the fruit, nectarines, and we got to eat it.
Once that was over we went to recess and played outside. We played different things. Some of the things we played were handball, soccer, and many more. When recess was over we lined up and our teacher picked us up. We walked to class.
After recess was over, we turned in last week’s Problem of the Week. We were instructed to give our homework to our group’s number fours. The number fours gave the Problem of the Week to Mrs. Citizen. When we were done, Mrs. Citizen showed us how she wanted us to do our future Problem of the Weeks. We also copied our spelling words in our agendas from our classroom website.
Once we finished, we worked on our Native American Project. We had to research our various tribes. We are answering our Need to Know questions. We each have a job. Some groups are using the chromebooks to collect their data.
Afterwards it was time for lunch. We lined p and walked to the cafeteria and ate are lunch. Some of us brought our own lunch and the others did not. When we were done eating we went outside and played lots of games. When the bell rang we lined up and went to class.
5 minutes remained before it was time to go home. We wrote down our homework in our agendas. For homework we had to read for 30 min., write some math numbers in expanded form, Problem of the Week, and put our spelling words in alphabetical order and find the value of each word. We got our backpacks from room 12 and put our homework in our backpacks and went home.
